Configuration - Change Default Directories

 

RessurectionXtras can be placed anywhere on the Xbox Hard Drive, although it is recommened to place them within the emulator's own "media" folder.

 

An example of the recommended paths:

 

Rom Directory - D:\Media\Roms\*

Screenshot Saves Directory - E:\SCREENSHOTS

Movie/Preview Directory - D:\Media\Movies

Save Game Directory - E:\SAVES\SNES9XBOX

Skin Directory - D:\EMUSKINS

Set Media Directories

Garbage Directory - E:\SAVES\SNES9XBOX

 

The D:\ directory is the Emulators root folder. The E:\ directory is where the Emulator expects its "SAVES" directory to be located. 

These paths should normally be left as they are along with the "Garbage" and "Screenshots" paths.

 

The "Set Media Directory" contains the following sub folders:

 

Media Directory - D:\Media

View Manual - D:\Media\Manuals

View Game FAQ - D:\Media\GameFAQs

View VG Map - D:\Media\VGMaps

View Commercial - D:\Media\Commercials

View Other (e.g. - AVGN) - D:\Media\Other

 

When the path for the "Media Directory" is set, the Emulator can set all the media paths (and the Movies path) automatically.

 

Note: The default paths will need to be changed if the RessurectionXtras are in another location on the Xbox hard drive.
